Skills

I am familiar with designing apparatus for studying special insects according to their behavior. I was trained up with chemical analysis techniques such as SPME, GC, GC-MS, EAG, GC-EAD, HPLC, Silica Chromatography, microscopy systems and insect behavior observation and bioassay systems in my Ph. D. studentship. The most important, I can make custom-made EAG and GC-EAD systems; and I got familiar with organic synthesis of insect pheromones in my first post-doctorate work.

Computing

Video Analysis using Image Pro plus, Tracker software, EAG and GC-EAD profiles analysis (Syntech programs); Statistical analyses (Origin, SPSS, Excel, R); GC and GC-MS data analysis with Agilent Chemstation software; Analysis of chemical properties with ACD and ChembioOffice software; Basic computing (Adobe Illustrator, Matlab, Microsoft Office, Citation tools, Internet, C++, Internet of things …).
